The report highlights achievements from the year: improvements to the software deployment tools, but also upstream work with Software Heritage integration, and downstream work with Jupyter integration and the design of workflow languages.
In 2021 we witnessed growing awareness of the importance of software and software environments for reproducible research workflows—for instance with UNESCO’s Recommendation on Open Science and the Second French Plan for Open Science. This is our contribution to this endeavor.
